HAROLD "BUCK" WEAVER

Letter dated 15 January 1956

Dear Sibell,
Just how many letters I ask you I cant tell, as I've been very ill for quite sometime with high blood pressure but at this time am glad to say am in the normal range although still under the Doctors case and I'm getting along ok under the circumstances.  Now I wrote Cissie late in Nov and the letter was returned marked "House Empty" gone away also the card I sent was returned marked the same, just what has happened to her I'd like to know. Now getting to your Xmas letter- I received all the photos March last, also a note from Betty, Cissie sent me a cable at Mothers passing but as I could not go to the studio it was quite some time till I received it. This was quite an added shock at that time and I can readily see what it did to you but trust you are feeling better as I guess all this happened for the best. Now I am doing my best to try and snap out of this condition so I can get to painting again as I've not touched a brush for nearly a year now, I promised Betty a painting for a wedding gift and will make this my first job. Well guess this just about covers all for now so with wishing you all the best for 56

Fondest From Harold "Buck"
